Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we accept Highmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, United Healthcare, UPMC, Aetna, and Cigna.

We are also an out-of-network provider. This means that if you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with an invoice or super bill to get reimbursement for your insurance company; however, you must pay us up front.

If you are unsure if you have out-of-network benefits or what benefits you have for behavioral health (counseling), we recommend calling your insurance company directly. Important questions to ask are:
- What are my mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible or what is my out-of-pocket max?

The length of time varies greatly between clients and the issues each individual is working through, including how long an individual would like to continue sessions. Our goal is to get you to a place where you are stable, empowered and consistently applying tools to maintain your freedom. The minimum number of sessions we see clients for is six, if they are stable and dealing with a specific issue.

  • Individual sessions are 45-50 minutes.
  • Family sessions and Intakes are 60 minutes.
  • Group sessions are 90 minutes.
We require 24 hour notice of all cancellations. If you do not cancel within that time, you will be charged a $60 cancellation fee at the time of your session. Payment is required at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged. Due to the high demand for evening sessions, if you have cancelled several sessions in the past, we may not be able to offer you an evening slot. We accept HSA accounts, all major credit cards and cash.
Everything said during your session is completely confidential with three exceptions:
  1. If a child or elderly person is in danger.
  2. If you are in danger of harming yourself.
  3. If you are planning on harming another person.
Office hours vary based on your therapist. Please contact us directly for availability and scheduling.
We accept HSA cards, credit or debit cards. We require a credit card on file to book an appointment.
